The Beltane is a day of fire, death and ultimate renewal, part of the intricate and ever moving cycle of the wheel, second only to old Samhauin in power and the veil is so thin that it is a most excellent time to see loved ones in spirit, hedgecrossing and of course to see and speak with the Fae, and it is said that if you rise before dawn on may 1st (or perhaps better if you do not sleep at all) and lay upon the meadow grass covered in faery garlands you will see the fae dancing and laughing, making garlands and exchanging gifts.. Once well met and a loyal friendship wrought with the fae folk, there is not one thing they would not help you with.
